Something I think allot of artists running a business don’t anticipate is running out of stock or having to constantly keep an eye on inventory, stock levels and reordering with companies. I never went into studying fine arts thinking that I would run a business, organise taxes, weekly stocktake, inventory (blah, blah, blah) and all the other details that are involved in small business. So, just before Christmas, after Finders Keepers in Brisbane, I was in quite a shock to find out so many of my designs and products had sold either at this event or in my online shop. I tried not to freak out, especially because it was the lead up to Chrissie. I managed to keep somewhat calm and order more products including a selection of new pieces. Soon enough, products started to arrive and I ended up with dozens of boxes sitting in my living room waiting to be organised. As much as I wanted to quickly sort them out, my brain just didn’t know where to start, so naturally I procrastinated!

A month or two later, I eventually went through each box and organised them which included quality control, ironing if required, labelling, packaging, photographing etc. Now it is finally here and I am thrilled to share with you my latest Autumn arrivals! I have a few new designs including silk scarves, wool scarves, tea towels, cushions and linen aprons. Luckily the arrival of this stock coincided with a photoshoot up in Mooloolaba so some of these products are shot in the studio and others by my fabulous photographer, Alex.

I am really pleased with these new designs. Everything is super limited edition - most I just have around 10 of each product. Many designs are reminiscent of my travels to Europe and in particular my favourites are the scarves which are inspired by Italian Sunflower Fields!
